Searching the Repository

Basic Search

Enter keywords in the search box on the homepage to search across all fields (title, author, subject, abstract, etc.). The system will return all items containing your search terms.

Advanced Search

Use the Advanced Search option to:

• Search specific fields (title, author, subject)
• Combine multiple search terms using AND, OR, NOT operators
• Limit results by publication year
• Filter by document type or faculty

Search Tips

• Use quotation marks for exact phrases: "climate change"
• Use asterisk () for truncation: econom will find economy, economics, economical
• Use Boolean operators: renewable AND energy NOT fossil

Browsing Collections

The repository offers multiple ways to browse content:

• By Faculty/Department
• By Document Type
• By Publication Year
• By Subject

Click on any category to see all items in that collection.

Viewing and Downloading Items

Item Records

Each item has a detailed record page showing:

• Bibliographic information (title, author, publication date)
• Abstract or description
• Subject keywords
• Download statistics
• Related items

Downloading Files

Click the Download button on an item's record page to access the full text. Most items are available as PDF files.

Creating an Account

A repository account allows you to:

• Save searches
• Create favorites lists
• Receive notifications about new items
• Submit your own research (for affiliated researchers)
